Wow so it's almost one in the morning, I have class tomorrow- and I can't sleep.

So naturally i decided to update my journal since the last time i did it was....ooooo.... say thanksgiving? how pathetic!

So i am a printmaker. My work doesn't have strong content so i won't go on to grad school. I have been told i am very beautiful and I create beautiful things- but apparently this is a bad thing in the art world.. and i have been shunned in my crits.

But i still create... because i love to- i do it for myself (which is also a bad thing in the art world, because apparently it is all about the viewer!! and we wouldn't create with no intent to show others)

I have much to learn, and I am constantly being bombarded by different opinions. I just wish i could form my own.
